This bibliography combines a twenty-one-year checklist of a London fine-edition publisher's books (1947-1967) with a supplement covering 1968 to 1971. Together the two parts describe titles, authors, illustrators, type, printers, and bindings for the first quarter-century of the list. Prefatory appraisals and notes explain the firm's aims and the arrangement of the entries. Plates show specimen pages and bindings. The volume is a collector's record of publications, not an anthology of the texts themselves, and it exists to identify what was issued and in what physical form.
