The Lost World

This science-fiction thriller sends a party to Isla Sorna, a second island where cloned dinosaurs have lived without tourist fences. The mathematician Ian Malcolm, the field zoologist Sarah Harding, and others go to study or to extract animals, while a rival corporate team arrives with other aims. The island's predators, a storm, and competing human plans turn the visit into a fight to leave. The book is a sequel to a novel of a failed park, not a paleontology textbook.
