The Complete Paddington

This collection gathers the children's stories of Paddington, a young bear from Darkest Peru who arrives at a London station with a label asking that he be looked after, and is taken in by the Brown family at 32 Windsor Gardens. With a wide hat, a duffel coat, and a jar of marmalade, he means well and creates chaos in shops, the underground, and Mr Gruber's antique stall. Mrs Bird keeps house; the Brown children Judy and Jonathan are his allies. Each chapter is a separate scrape. The book is comic domestic fiction for children, not a single quest narrative.

Bound in cloth. Blue four-volume slipcase with title and illustration of Paddington in gold. Marketed by FS but with Harper Collins logo on spine.
