Marvel: The Avengers. Curated

This curated collection gathers comic-book stories of the Avengers, the rotating team of Marvel heroes who first assemble when a common enemy forces rivals to work together. Early issues show Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Ant-Man, and the Wasp against Loki; later ones change the roster, adding Captain America, the Vision, and others, and turn on internal splits as much as on invasion. A replica of the 1963 first issue accompanies a selection that samples lineup shifts and set-piece battles across several decades. The book is an anthology of a serial, not one continuous novel.
