Marvel: Captain America

This anthology collects comic-book stories that follow Steve Rogers, a frail recruit transformed into a super-soldier, from his wartime creation through later decades of publication. Early tales set him against Nazi agents and the Red Skull; later ones return him to a changed America, team him with other heroes, and test his loyalty to the government that made him. A companion facsimile of the 1941 first issue reprints the original origin. The volume is a curated survey of one character's serial adventures, drawn from many writers and artists, not a single graphic novel with one plot.
